Boat on the Water

These are some pics I took after my cafe con leche. I looked up and noticed that the boats were leaving the dock to go out for more racing after lunch. I'm pretty sure these are the 49er's. The diagonal lines in the sky are rain, which hadn't hit on shore yet. Oskar is doing really well in the Princess Sofia Regatta and is currently in 4th. Which is incredible. Only 1 more day of racing. Then Saturday we are heading home to T.O.

Tres Torres- My home

I always end up doing this at the end of the trip, instead of the beginning. I guess its just my feeling of obligation to document the daily mundane things that don't photograph well. So this has been my daily life in Palma. My painting "studio", my "office" and my mint plant that has sacrificed so lovingly for the sake of oskar and I's appetite.

Platja de Palma at Night

The beach totally transforms at nite here. It goes from tans, beiges, ochres, and blues during the day to electric yellow and almost midnight black at nite. Plus the shapes created by the shadows of the umbrellas make them look as though they are flying saucers. I wish I had my tripod here to capture them from different angles, but for now I'll just have to use the boardwalk's concrete border as my tripod.
