TCA, Toronto Craft Alert, asked me to create 3 icons for them to keep readers connected while they take a 6 month hiatus. Check out the screen shots below.

City of Craft 2009

This posting is about 3 weeks to late, but that's okay because all is forgiven over the holidays.

I went to City of Craft 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was great to see so many Crafty Torontonians under one roof. The event was a great success complete with media coverage, raffle winners, and goody bags. I picked up my own City of Craft bag (pictured below) that I'll wear proudly around town.

One of my new faves I found at the event: Hand & Shadow *I love the "Wolf T-shirt"

New Mailer Revealed plus Interview

Over the past couple of months I've been lucky enough to get to know the girls over at Toronto Craft Alert. First I got to design a header for their e-newsletter with Jen, then I got interviewed by Amy, and then I got to finish my header design off by putting together the body of the e-newsletter with Jen.
Quite a fun experience. I'm so pleased with how the mailer turned out and look forward to working with them again soon. They are the best kind of client you can get; clear vision, open to creativity, and very easy going!!
See the newsletter below, view the interview online here.
PS. Check out my dad's comment below. It's so sweet I almost cried.

Featured on TCA Intern Picks List

I'm currently working on a new banner for the Toronto Craft Alert. I just noticed that they featured me on their website under "Intern Picks". See screenshot below and check out the link: TCA Intern Picks

Toronto Craft Alert is one of the first mailing lists that I signed up for when I moved to Toronto to receive alerts on crafty happenings, classes, calls for entry, and all sorts of craft related funnery. Check them out: Toronto Craft Alert
