Pieces of the Week

I created 2 series of 4 panels on the remaining pieces of watercolor paper I have. I cut them into long vertical strips, splashed paint in various patterns, then added extra pieces of collage paper I had, and finally put in the little guys.
I'm really happy with the results. They are loose and compositionally exciting. This was a really good exercise in loosening up, now I just need to find a some reasonable custom frames.

"Man Eater"

This piece was created out of the last large sheet of paper that I took to Palma.
Now it's back to the smaller format. The larger pieces are fun and on my next trip to Portugal I'd like to get some 22x30 inch paper. The only problem with the bigger pieces is that they are harder to travel with and sell.
